Susan Manus joined the Library of Congress in 1995 to work in the Music Division, where she helped produce digital collections, eventually serving as team leader for digital projects there. In 2002, she moved to the new Digital Conversion Services team, where she worked on a variety of digital library projects including the Ameritech/American Memory collections and the Federal Agencies Digitization Guidelines Initiative. She is now a Digital Project Coordinator, working on the NDIIPP Communications Team, and generally working on a range of activities to promote the cause of digital preservation. In her other life, she has been a freelance violinist in the Washington DC area for over 25 years. She holds a BA in Music from Penn State University, and an MA in Arts Management from American University.
