A Different View of the World – Pic of the Week
January 14th, 2011 by Kelly Buchanan
Today’s Pic of the Week comes to you direct from my office! When I started working at the Law Library, I thought it would be nice to have a couple of maps to decorate my office. In addition to a large map of New Zealand, I also have a Pacific-centered world map, shown below. I soon discovered that this is a little different from the world maps found here in the U.S., which are usually Atlantic-centered.

I’m thinking I should also get an upside down world map to add to my collection – showing “Down Under” at the top of the world – just to provide another different perspective.
