AUTHOR: Amanda Zimmerman
Amanda Zimmerman began working at the Library as a Junior Fellow in the summer of 2011. She stayed on as a curatorial assistant, became a library technician, and is now a reference librarian in the Rare Book & Special Collections division. Alongside her MLIS, Amanda also has a Master’s in American history with a focus on public history. Her interests are far-ranging, but tend to lean towards 19th and 20th century literature and popular culture. Her work with Houdini’s Library and associated collections has made her the go-to for everything occult, odd, magical, mystical and just plain weird in in the division.
