AUTHOR: Callie Beattie
Callie Beattie began working at the Library first as a Junior Fellow in 2023 and returned in 2024 as a Librarian-in-Residence. In the summer of 2025, she joined the Rare Book and Special Collections Division as a reference librarian. Alongside her MSLS, Callie holds a Master’s in Art History. Her work largely focuses on artists' books, small press works, and material on creative and social movements of the 19th to 21st century, particularly those that are fringe or underground. Callie is also passionate about processing and enhancing points of access for the division's archival collections. Outside of the Library, she can be found crafting, antiquing, or exploring the city with her boyfriend and dog.
