AUTHOR: Marianna Stell
Originally from the Boston area, Marianna Stell joined the Rare Book and Special Collections Division in 2017 where she serves as a reference librarian. In that position, she divides her time between assisting patrons in the Reading Room, answering reference questions, developing the collections, assisting with events, and creating reference and secondary resources pertaining to the Division's medieval and Renaissance manuscript collections and early printing collections. Prior to the Library of Congress, Marianna worked in the National Gallery of Art Library in Washington, D.C.. She holds advanced degrees in library science and medieval studies, and she is an active member of the Medieval Academy of America. Outside of business hours, she can be found fixing-up her old home or tinkering with old bicycles.
