Mark Your Calendars: Library Night at Nationals Park

For those of you in the DC Metro area, some exciting news: the Library of Congress takes reading to the ballpark for LOC Night at Nationals Park on Aug. 20, when hometown team the Washington Nationals takes on the Colorado Rockies.

The Nationals are an official media partner for the 2024 National Book Festival and are helping to raise awareness of the Library’s signature event among baseball fans. From the first pitch to the famous Presidents Race, the Library will be incorporated throughout the evening. Three local authors featured at this year’s Festival will also be recognized during the game:

Purchase discounted tickets for the Library’s designated section of the ballpark through the Nationals website. Ticket sales close August 19th at 12pm EST.

    Sounds like fun! Who’s up for the Chicago Cubs &/or the Chicago White Sox…soon after the DNC, of course!

      They are correct: August 20th for the game and August 19 deadline to purchase on the link provided.
