In May, the Library will premiere a series of resources and events with the authors and editors of “The Talk: Conversations on Race, Love & Truth.” The book is written for teens, caregivers and teachers, and everyone else interested in navigating these complex conversations in family and classroom environments. On May 3, the Library will premiere a video interview with authors Adam Gidwitz and Renée Watson, designed for teens, and a recorded conversation with publishers and editors Wade Hudson and Cheryl Willis Hudson, designed for caregivers and teachers.
Then, don’t miss the chance to ask the authors and editors questions live on May 13 at 5 pm Eastern. The program will be presented on Zoom. Please register in advance here, and if you already have a question, send it ahead of time to [email protected]. Registration is required.
All three of these events are part of the 11th annual Jonah Solkoff Eskin Memorial Program, supported by Marcia and Barnet Eskin in honor of their late son. Each program begins with an introduction by the Eskin family.
