AUTHOR: David Morris
David B. Morris, German area specialist, has been principal curator of German-language collections at the Library of Congress since 2000. He has a doctorate from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies and has lived and worked in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Prior to joining the Library he was at the German Historical Institute in Washington, where he co-edited a two-volume history of German-American relations during the Cold War. David is also a classically trained singer and has been a member of the Washington National Opera Chorus for more than 25 years.
