Travis Hensley

Travis Hensley, Program Specialist, manages fellowships, intern programs, and events for the Kluge Center. He came to the Library of Congress in 2011 as a Congressional Junior Fellow in the Geography & Map Division. He worked in the division creating new inventory processes and assisted with a project to create a KML database for the division's African collection. He joined The John W. Kluge Center in 2012 as a program assistant for the Kluge Center’s fellowship programs, aiding in the Center’s numerous competition processes and coordinating logistics and activities for post-graduate fellows and doctoral candidates in residence. In 2016 he became a program specialist overseeing events and communications and moved into his current role in 2018. Travis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from the University of California, Davis.
