The Law Library is pleased to announce new online offerings on US environmental laws. Researchers who are interested in learning more about this topic can start their research by reviewing our new research guide, Environmental Law: A Beginner’s Guide. In addition to listing treatises, journals, and other collections, the guide discusses major federal legislation on various facets of this topic, including the Marine Protection, Research, and Sanctuaries Act and the Clean Air Act. The guide also provides print and online resources about state statutes and regulations on environmental protection.

Researchers may also enjoy watching a new recorded webinar on this area of law, which is available through the Legal Research Institute. The presentation provides a brief overview of the US legal system, a summary of four federal environmental laws, and a live demonstration of some of the Law Library’s online collections and search functions, including the Global Legal Monitor, Legal Reports, and other digital collections.

While navigating the Legal Research Institute, we hope you will take some time to review both upcoming and past webinars on legal research and foreign, comparative, and international legal topics.
