Last month, Robert shared that Congress.gov now has committee hearing transcripts going back to the 103rd Congress (1993-1994). We previously added Committee Prints to the website. With today’s release, you can now browse the House prints, Senate prints and Joint committee prints. They are listed by the print number, title, committee, and any legislation that it might accompany.

There is also an additional line added to the email alerts sent from Congress.gov: “To stay up to date with Congress.gov enhancements, sign up for Congress.gov Notifications. See more Email Alerts and Updates.” The Congress.gov Notifications email alert provides updates with our enhancements and other important notifications.

The results for the Quick Search Form for Legislation Text now has two new sort options: Law Number  – Ascending and Law Number – Descending.  The legislation number also has moved to the beginning of each item listed in the search results. This is similar to most of the other search results on Congress.gov.

Enhancements

The following are the Congress.gov enhancements for February.

Enhancement – Committee Prints – Browse

Enhancement – Legislation Text – Search Results

  • Legislation numbers display at the beginning of each item in your search results for improved scannability.
