The newest addition to the Law Library’s Story Map collection has arrived. Documenting World War I: The Great War through the Lens of the Law Library’s Collections is our contribution to the wealth of information about  World War I at the Library of Congress. This Story Map introduces readers to the multitude of declarations of war in the Law Library’s digital collections.

Images from the Library’s digital collections are interspersed with an updated narrative from past iterations of the Law Library’s resource pages. Along the way, click through our interactive map, “Mapping a World War.” Here, you can visualize the scope of World War I, the different years at which new players entered the conflict, and find links to specific documents and further information for each country.

The Law Library’s Digital Resources Division looks forward to bringing you more interactive resources in the future.
