In December, Andrew Weber shared that you can now access committee meetings in a new Congress.gov Browse page, Committee Meetings by Date.
In this release, we are excited to migrate some of the predecessors to the Congressional Record that reported the debates of Congress. The Congressional Globe (1833-1873) and Register of Debates (1824-1837) are now available from the Browse Page in PDF. Just select a relevant Congress on the dropdown menu and you will find these collections under the “Debates of Congress” heading. Please find the full list of enhancements copied below.

- Consult the Statutes at Large field value list to see volume numbers matched with corresponding years and Congressional sessions.
Enhancement – Legislation – Senate Measures
- A Senator who introduces a bill or resolution on behalf of the measure’s sponsor is listed in the overview.
- A Senator who submits an amendment on behalf of the amendment’s sponsor is listed in the overview.
