Congress.gov New, Tip, and Top – February of 2024

Share this post:

In January, we announced that the Congressional Globe (1833-1873) and Register of Debates (1824-1837) are available from the Congress.gov Browse Page in PDF format.

With this release, we are excited to announce that we are migrating the historical House and Senate Journals to Congress.gov in PDF format.  The House and Senate Journals are available through the 14th Congress (1815-1817), while the Senate Executive Journals are available through the 43rd Congress (1873-1875). You can access these by visiting the Congress.gov Browse Page, selecting the appropriate Congress in the drop-down menu, and you will see the Journals under the heading, “Congressional Activity.” Finally, in an enhancement that was created due to user feedback, the Congress.gov Feedback Form now allows you to attach an image.
