We are pleased to announce that we are holding a “Congress.gov Public Forum” in room LJ-119, which is located in the Library of Congress Jefferson Building, on September 30, 2025, from 1-3p.m. EDT. If you are a professional or a concerned citizen who uses Congress.gov regularly to keep up with the latest federal legislative activity, we want to hear from you!
You can register to attend this free event in person here.
If you prefer, you can participate online by registering here.

During the forum, we will provide you with an update on the enhancements that have been made to the site over the past year, many of which have been inspired by your feedback. And, as in past years, you will have the opportunity to provide the Library and our data partners with your feedback about how we can better serve your legislative information needs. If you would like to submit feedback ahead of the public forum, please use our Congress.gov Public Forum Survey Form.
In addition to the Congress.gov Public Forum, please join our data partners for their upcoming events. The next Congressional Hackathon will take place on September 17 from 1-6 pm in the CVC Auditorium at the U.S. Capitol. This event is open to the public, but you must pre-register here. In addition, please check out the Government Publishing Office’s Federal Depository Library Conference on September 25 and September 26.
Please request ADA accommodations at least five business days in advance by contacting (202) 707-6362 or [email protected].
