AUTHOR: Kurt Carroll

Kurt Carroll is Chief of the Law Library's Collection Services Division. He is responsible for managing (acquire, maintain, retrieve, and preserve) the Law Library's collection of 2.9 million volumes from over 240 jurisdictions. He works with Library of Congress acquisition divisions and the six field directors from LCs overseas offices to ensure the Law Library’s collections are current and complete. Kurt came to the Law Library in 2007 from the US Senate Judiciary Committee where he established a law library and provided research and reference support to staff on all jurisdictions of the Committee. Kurt holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Canisius College and a Masters of Library and Information Science from the Catholic University of America.
