AUTHOR: Laney Zhang
Laney Zhang is a foreign law specialist at the Law Library of Congress. At the Law Library, she has authored reports on a wide range of topics on the laws of mainland China, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau. Laney graduated from Duke Law School with an LL.M. degree and did her post-graduate research at Columbia Law School. She also holds an LL.B. and a Master in Jurisprudence degree from Nanjing University Law School. Laney enjoys working in the world’s largest library — one of her favorite tasks here is to maintain the Library’s Chinese law collections. In her spare time, Laney loves doing yoga and Tai Chi.
