AUTHOR: Jennifer Gavin
Jennifer Gavin was a senior public affairs specialist at the Library from 2007 to 2017. A former newspaperwoman, she covered politics and government for the Associated Press and the Denver Post. After serving as press secretary to the governor of Colorado, she worked as a corporate and government spokesperson and speechwriter. Gavin holds bachelor's degrees in journalism and political science from the University of Colorado and a master's in international affairs from the American University.
