Mark Hartsell is the publications editor at the Library of Congress. Mark grew up on Air Force bases around the world. He earned degrees in history and English literature from Wofford College and in journalism from the University of South Carolina. Before joining the Library, Mark spent 20 years in newspaper journalism, working in news and sports at daily newspapers in Charleston, S.C., Dallas and Washington, D.C.
