Today’s guest of honor is none other than Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, born on this day in 1756. The Performing Arts Encyclopedia features a number of the maestro’s manuscripts, including the Gran Partita, K. 361, the Piano concerto in B♭ major, K.238, the Violin concerto in A major, K. 219, the Six Minuets, K. 164 (130a), and the Sonata in G major, K. 379.
