AUTHOR: Melissa Wertheimer
Melissa Wertheimer is a Senior Digital Collections Specialist for Web Archiving. Melissa serves as Co-Chair of the International Internet Preservation Consortium's Content Development Working Group. She is also an Adjunct Lecturer for graduate archives and digital curation courses at the University of Maryland College of Information. Melissa holds a M.L.I.S. in Archives and Digital Curation from the University of Maryland, a M.M. in Piccolo from the Peabody Institute, and a B.M. in Flute from Ithaca College. Melissa first joined the Library in 2018 in the Music Division where she shared Library treasures with guests from Lizzo, to the cast of Queer Eye, to international researchers and performers through blogging, reference work, scholarship, and displays.
