We are so excited to be just a little more than a week away from the 2022 National Book Festival. On Saturday, Sept. 3 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., join us at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in downtown D.C. for events featuring more than 120 authors, writers and poets, book signings and much more! If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the full author lineup and schedule at loc.gov/bookfest.
To help us bring you the best experience possible as we return in person, we’re interested in hearing your thoughts. Do you plan to attend the 2022 National Book Festival? If not, why? If yes, what events and activities are you most excited for? Let us know in the survey link below by Friday, Sept. 2.
Please note: this does not serve as registration to attend the 2022 National Book Festival. The festival is not a ticketed event and is free and open to all.
Seating is limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 3. Entry into the event is not guaranteed. Please request ADA accommodations at least 5 days in advance by contacting 202-707-6362 or [email protected].

Hello, is there any possibility of bringing the National Book Festival to Boston Massachusetts for all the book worms?
Please let me know if there’s a way to make it happen.
Thank you

I will not be able to volunteer this year and will really miss it. But I will watch on line as much as I can see, and plan to be with you in person next year volunteering.

We appreciate your support of the festival!
Non-fiction and inspirational books and authors.
I am crossing my fingers that our internet is in full power because I plan to participate via distance. I love the experience and thank you for making the presentation available on YouTube even after the event is done. (Just incase our rural internet is not working when the festival is live) I am a great fan of the Library of Congress. I am grateful for the connection to this deeply respected resource.
I’m hoping to attend a few of the webinars, fingers crossed my schedule works out.
