About this Blog: National Book Festival

Each year in the fall, the Library of Congress National Book Festival brings together dozens of authors and thousands of booklovers to Washington D.C. to celebrate the joy of books and reading. This blog provided ongoing information leading up to the event, including updates on confirmed authors, planned activities, and information for attendees. In March 2023, this blog was merged into “Bookmarked: Celebrating Contemporary Books & Writers at the Library,” which continued in its mission.
