Beethoven, Brahms, and Schumann — New Music Titles

Share this post:

Over the past month, the Music Section has added more than 45 new braille, audio, and large-print music titles by roughly twenty-five different composers to its collection. Together, just three composers, Ludwig van Beethoven, Johannes Brahms, and Robert Schumann, wrote compositions that comprise nearly a quarter of the total amount of those additions.

I thought it a good idea to share with our blog readers these significant composers’ compositions, in hopes that it will encourage you to inquire about the Music Section’s other new sheet music, scores, and books. Besides leaving a comment below, one way to do that is to subscribe to Musical Mainstream and Contemporary Soundtrack, which are two of the Music Section’s six subscription-based magazines that include a full list of newly acquired titles. Both magazines are produced in audio format, and Musical Mainstream is also published in braille and large-print. You can subscribe to any and all of these magazines through your regional braille and talking book library or the Music Section.

The following selections are available for loan; simply call or write to the Music Section for assistance. Please enjoy!
