New BARD Additions: December 2019

Share this post:

The December installment of New BARD Additions is a veritable holiday feast for patrons of the NLS Music Section, perfect for beginning your new year with new music! New talking books include the audio course Lessons for the New Organist from the American Guild of Organists, Kentucky mountain music from Smithsonian Folkways, and classical piano lessons from Bill Brown. Highlights in braille music include piano works by Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn, Philip Glass’s first violin concerto, several Mozart piano sonatas, and classic music instruction books from Carl Orff and Jon George.

During the past month, the Music Section added the following titles in audio and braille to BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download). If you don’t use BARD or would like to borrow a hard copy, we’ll gladly mail one to you. Contact the Music Section by phone (1-800-424-8567, option 2) or by e-mail ([email protected]).
