Greetings from the NLS Music Section! April showers bring May flowers–and May music too! Read on to learn which new talking books and braille music have “sprung up” in our musical garden on BARD (Braille and Audio Reading Download) this month!

Dark Holler: Old Love Songs and Ballads. This recording celebrates the singers of the Big Laurel country in Madison County, North Carolina. They sang what we call “unaccompanied ballads,” but they knew them as “old love songs.” (DBM03989)

The Majesty, the Pageantry of Holy Week in Old Spain.
