AUTHOR: Amanda Jenkins
Amanda Jenkins was part of the first cohort of Librarians-in-Residence at the Library of Congress. As the 2018-19 Resident in the Motion Picture, Broadcasting, and Recorded Sound Division, Amanda contributed to the reference activities of the Moving Image and Recorded Sound Research Centers and was involved in creating online research guides and other materials that aid in the discovery of the division’s collections. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, and a graduate of Luther College (Decorah, IA) and the University of Iowa’s School of Library and Information Science (Iowa City, IA), Amanda was grateful for the opportunity to live and work in Washington, DC, and thrilled to start her career at the Library of Congress.
