AUTHOR: Bryan Cornell

Bryan Cornell has been a reference librarian in the Recorded Sound Section for well over a decade, and he has fielded questions on topics ranging from the correct technique for playing spoons to the authentic sound of an 1850's Irish-American accent. Before coming to the Library he received an undergraduate degree from Pitzer College, an MS in US History from the University of Utah and an MLS from the University of Maryland. He has also been active playing guitar and synth in the underground music scenes in Salt Lake, Los Angeles and Washington, DC.
