I am an educator from Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Island, Saipan and I am very interested in attending this great learning opportunity for teachers. I was a teacher for 11 years and a school administrator for 16 years and just thinking about this Library of Congress in Washington, DC may give me the additional knowledge and skills to really build a better strategies on how the library at our school campus can be utilized effectively and in a much meaningful manner for the students we serve. Aside from learning how to build a better library but also the type of resources that we can procure and make available for our students and teachers so it can be readily available close to their classrooms where they can use it to implement effective instructional strategies to help reach the 21st Century Classroom concept or model. I am also interested in knowing how to effectively implement programs and more for our students and teachers so they can all be achieve successfully in what the goal they said for themselves.
Again, I am really interested in attending this Library of Congress in Washington DC and if I am ever given the opportunity, I would like to be the resource for those that may need my support.

In the past haven’t there been institutes specifically for librarians? If so, I would like more information on these.
There has not been one institute designated for librarians. We encourage all those interested in supporting students in using primary sources to apply.
