Please join us for the next session in the Double Take webinar series on February 18! This four-part series, which launched last month, features experts from the Library’s Prints and Photographs Division who explore and discuss intriguing, and sometimes puzzling, images from the Library’s collections, share tips for research, and invite you to participate and ask questions.

Thursday, February 18, 4PM ET – “Why Was This Picture Made?”

When examining pictures of the past, sometimes asking the question of “Why?” leads one down an unexpected path. In this session, Sara Duke, Curator of Popular & Applied Graphic Art, will invite participants on an exploration of an image from the Library’s collections, with that question in mind.

For more information about previous and upcoming Double Take sessions, plus registration details for this event, visit our “Webinars and Workshops” page.

And if you missed it, you can also learn a bit more about some of the inspiration behind the series in this recent blog post by Reference Specialist Kristi Finefield, who presented last month’s Double Take session, “White House or Not?”
