We thank our colleague Jan Grenci, who originally published this on Picture This: Library of Congress Prints and Photos.
The collections of the Prints & Photographs Division include many images that depict the act of reading. When I recently prepared a Flickr album on the subject, I had a number of photographs, prints and posters to spare. Let me show you some of the posters that I didn’t use but are equally worthy of the spotlight!

Such lovely invitations to the joy of reading!
A vital service of the Library of Congress since 1931 has been the National Library Service for Blind and Print Disabled.
In addition to Braille, hearing blind readers can use Talking Books, as in this 1944 photo.
Thank you all force
Best Regards
