The Library’s education team is delighted to be exhibiting at and attending the Association of Rural and Small Libraries conference this week in Springfield, Massachusetts. We hope you will come to our booth in space 51-52 in the exhibit hall and learn more about how the Library can support you. We’d also love to hear about what your needs are and look forward to sharing the treasure trove of resources available on the Library’s website.
In addition to information on programs offered by the Library’s Veterans History Project, the National Library for the Blind and Print Impaired and Teachers Page, we will also have a Short Story Cube that prints out free to use and reuse Library of Congress teacher resources. You can also grab information on Constitution Day resources, local history materials, and poetry resources.
We’ll present a session at 11am on Friday, September 13th on Local History resources available at the Library. Learn more about Chronicling America, the panoramic maps and other resources you can use to support local history research at your library.
