AUTHOR: Andrea J. Briggs
Andrea J. Briggs is an Archivist in the Manuscript Division’s Preparation Section, where she has worked since 2019. She received her MLIS from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Information Sciences, and holds a BA in History and English from McDaniel College. Her scholarly interests include sixteenth-century North Atlantic exploration and early American colonization, Soviet national delimitation, and the evolution of fandom culture from the 1960s to the present day.
