Laura Kells was a senior archives specialist in the Manuscript Division’s Preparation Section and has worked as a processing archivist at the Library of Congress from 1991 until her retirement in 2024.. She holds an MA in American Studies from the University of Iowa and an MLS from Rutgers University.
