AUTHOR: Lewis Wyman
Lewis Wyman Jr. is a reference librarian with the Manuscript Division where he helps researchers from around the world access the Library of Congress's vast collections of manuscripts relating to American history and culture. He joined the Library of Congress in 2002 as a reference assistant in the Prints and Photographs Division and has been with the Manuscript Division since 2009. He began his career in libraries at the Richland County Public Library in Columbia S.C. before receiving an MLIS degree from the University of South Carolina, Davis College. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a history major from USC. Although a generalist, some of his particular interests include the history of science and technology, art and architecture, literature, and military history.
