AUTHOR: Lena Mattson

Lena Mattson is a reference librarian in the Geography and Map Division. She holds a BA in anthropology and history of art from Johns Hopkins University, MA in history of art from the Courtauld Institute of Art, and MSLIS from Simmons University’s School of Library and Information Science. She joined the Library of Congress in early 2024, and before that held a number of library jobs in Maryland and Massachusetts. Lena enjoys choral singing, finding unique toppings combinations for homemade pizzas, and hosting game nights (board games and RPGs).
