Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore joined the Library of Congress in 2007 and is a Cartographic Specialist (Collections) in the Geography and Map Division. He previously worked at the Cleveland Public Library, John G. White Special Collections Department. He holds graduate degrees in history and library science. He has interest in Central Europe and the Balkans, as well as in China, Korea, and Japan. With a subject emphasis on military history, he analyzes the content of maps to describe and illustrate a historical situation or period. His work has appeared in publications, such as The International Journal of Cartography, Imago Mundi, The Portolan, Library of Congress Magazine, The Occasional Papers, among others.
