AUTHOR: Martha Anderson
Martha Anderson was director of program management for the National Digital Information Infrastructure and Preservation Program at the Library of Congress from 2007 until her retirement in December 2012. In addition to her work with NDIIPP, she also managed the archiving of web content in support of the Library’s Digital Strategic Initiatives Program. One key outside role was her service on the Steering Committee of the International Internet Preservation Consortium (IIPC), an organization of 37 national libraries and archives dedicated to collecting and archiving significant content from the Web. She first joined the Library in 1996 to work on the National Digital Library Program, serving as production coordinator for American Memory.
