AUTHOR: Mike Ashenfelder
Mike Ashenfelder wrote about digital topics in relation to libraries and archives, personal digital archiving, and preservation of -- and access to -- digital collections. He also produced public information videos and podcasts. Before joining the Library of Congress, he worked in Silicon Valley as a technical writer. He also wrote for the Whole Earth Review, the Millennium Whole Earth Catalog and Warner New Media and produced a Bay Area world-music TV show. He has a bachelors degree in Music Education from the Berklee College of Music and a Masters in Music History from San Francisco State University. He served at the Library of Congress from 2002-2017.
