Courtney Pomeroy is social media specialist in the Library’s Office of Communications. Before joining the Library in 2021, she worked at various news outlets in the Washington, D.C. region for 12 years, specializing in digital content and social media. Working at the world’s largest library is dream come true for Courtney, a lifelong bookworm and general lover of stories in any format. When she’s not working or reading, she enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors and in the kitchen, and playing roller derby. Courtney has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland.
