AUTHOR: Erin Allen
Erin Allen was a writer-editor in the Library's Office of Communications from June 2006 through January 2017. She managed the Library of Congress Blog and wrote stories for the Library's staff newsletter and the Library of Congress Magazine. Prior to coming to the Library, she was assistant editor at InRegister Magazine in Baton Rouge, La. When not at work, her passions include singing and competing in women's flat track roller derby. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mass Communications/Print Journalism with a minor in vocal performance from Louisiana State University.
