AUTHOR: Gayle Osterberg
Gayle Osterberg served as Director of Communications for the Library of Congress from 2012 to 2019, overseeing internal and external communications, media relations and marketing efforts. She served as the Library's chief spokesperson and as executive editor of the LCM, the Library's magazine, and the Gazette, the Library's weekly staff newsletter. Prior to coming to the Library, she was a founding partner of 133 Public Affairs, served as vice president of corporate communications for the Motion Picture Association of America and served for 12 years as a communications officer in the U.S. Senate. She is a proud graduate of the University of Kansas, and grew up in Oklahoma City.
