AUTHOR: John Sayers
John Sayers served in many roles at the Library in his 27-year career there, concluding as acting deputy director of communications upon his retirement in 2025. He worked on various print, web and new media projects through the years, leading development teams on several award-winning Library websites, social media endeavors and the Library of Congress Magazine. John earned a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Bethany (W.Va.) College back before there was an Internet and for nearly four decades has been a community volunteer in his tiny town of Wardensville, W.Va., where he now enjoys the good life.
