John Sayers has served as a public affairs specialist at the Library since 1997, working on various print, web and new media projects through the years. He has led development teams on several award-winning Library websites, social media channels and the Library of Congress Magazine. Currently, he serves as chief of digital content and strategy in the Office of Communications, shepherding the Library's many social media presences. John earned a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from Bethany (W.Va.) College back before there was an Internet and has been a community volunteer in his little town of Wardensville, W.Va., for nearly three decades.
