AUTHOR: Jim Martin
Jim Martin worked at the Law Library of Congress from June of 1992 - January of 2025. At the Law Library he worked as a reference librarian, as head of the Law Library Reading Room, as interim rare materials curator, and a senior legal information analyst in the Public Services Division where he provided reference and research services to congress, the government and the public. Before coming to the Law Library, he was a public services librarian at the University of Arkansas School of Law/Pulaski County Law Library in Little Rock, Arkansas. Jim has a B.A. in history from the University of Alabama, a J.D. from Alabama and a M.I.L.S. from the University of Michigan. His interests are spending time with family, reading, especially history and science fiction, and figuring out ways to navigate around Washington area traffic.
